DROP BY
This business to business (B2B) project deals with the development of a water cooler specifically for festival use.
At most festivals, there are only two options for water. Bottled water which is bought in the bars and booths, and drinking water from free-standing water posts or from the restrooms around the festival. The festival participants spend a lot of money on bottled water and they think the other option, hygienically, is far below their standard.
In the preparation of this project, efforts have been made to formulate a solution that meets the requirements of the various stakeholders for the product. Certain parameters can outperform the current opportunities for acquiring drinking water at festivals.
The product has been prepared in collaboration with the Danish water cooler manufacturer Kuvatek, the water cooler design utilizes existing parts from the company to ensure maximum flow of nice cool water.
Drop By is a water cooler which is suitable for use at festivals and other outdoor events, where large amounts of chilled drinking water are consumed.
A main focus is to accomplish the demands and wishes of the biggest stakeholder.
My area of responsibility
As in all other projects we work together in the early phases of the project. To get the team aligned. This means that some smaller tasks will be divided out such as user mapping, competitor mapping, stakeholder mapping etc. Other tasks like ideation with sketching are done together.
Later on, bigger tasks were devided into smaller teams. This could be making the prototype, the 3D model or user testing.
Graphic design
Both report layout, illustations and render refinement in the Adobe suite was my area.

A setup scenario
Business and budget
In this project I was the main designer of the business case and I was responsible for the budget.

Video/animation
On each semester we make animations/videos to give an understanding of the product. This was one of my tasks. It was done in SketchUp.
